I offer comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to better understand a learner’s unique strengths, challenges, and support needs. These assessments typically include cognitive functioning, scholastic performance (reading, writing, mathematics), and perceptual development — especially useful when determining school readiness or applying for Grade 1 exemption.
 
Where needed, I also assess for learning barriers such as ADHD, Specific Learning Disorders, or other developmental delays.
 
In addition, emotional and behavioural assessments can be included on request, providing valuable insight into how emotional well-being may be impacting a learner’s performance or behaviour at school.
 
My assessments are thorough, child-centered, and aligned with WCED guidelines. Reports can be used to apply for assessment accommodations (e.g., extra time, a reader/scribe), or to inform classroom support, school placement decisions, and therapeutic planning.

I offer career counselling for learners who are exploring future career paths or feeling uncertain about their next steps after school. Using interest and personality assessments, combined with supportive conversations, I help learners gain clarity about their strengths, values, and goals. My aim is to guide each individual toward meaningful, realistic career options that align with who they are — helping them feel empowered, hopeful, and ready for the journey ahead.

Choosing the right subjects in high school can feel overwhelming — especially when learners are unsure about their strengths or long-term goals. I offer supportive, one-on-one subject choice counselling to help learners make informed decisions that align with their interests, academic abilities, and potential career paths. Through interest inventories, self-reflection, and future-oriented conversations, I guide learners to select subjects that keep their options open while staying true to who they are

I offer individual therapy for children and adolescents who may be experiencing emotional, behavioural, or social difficulties. This includes support for challenges such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, adjustment difficulties, trauma, and emotional regulation. My therapeutic approach is child-centred, developmentally appropriate, and incorporates evidence-based techniques such as play-based therapy, cognitive-behavioural strategies, and mindfulness.

Sessions take place in a calm, home-based setting designed to help children feel safe and supported, allowing them to explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. My goal is to walk alongside each child and their family as they build resilience, strengthen emotional well-being, and rediscover their inner strengths.

I offer psycho-legal services with a specific focus on divorce and abuse-related cases. This includes conducting child-centred assessments, compiling professional reports, and offering therapeutic support to children navigating high-conflict family dynamics or traumatic experiences. My approach is grounded in empathy, ethics, and the best interests of the child, while also ensuring clarity and professionalism for legal processes.

I am currently completing specialised training in Voice of the Child practices — a powerful approach that gives children a safe and supported space to express their views in matters that affect them.
